About 12 miles from me, 5 dead. Worst area accident in memory. A guy with 2 previous felonies had been drinking and was driving illegally. He passed this crop sprayer on a blind no pass curve and struck a van carrying 13 Amish farmers, forcing it into the path of the sprayer. 5 killed, all others injured, some seriously. The drunk wasn't injured. One of his felonies was for bolting while being arrested, jumping into a police car and leading the police in a lengthy chase down the wrong lane of a divided highway.

The Japanese cram a lot into small spaces! Note the world's first center-less Ferris wheel - no hub. and the "exciting hyper-roller-coaster" goes right through!
I am visited by fascinating little flying insects whose antennae are nearly invisible, but over twice the length their one centimeter body! I found this picture - it is a "Longhorned Caddisfly". Their larvae live in clean, flowing water (Basswood Creek)
