looooooooong antennae - look closely!

I am visited by fascinating little flying insects whose antennae are nearly invisible, but over twice the length their one centimeter body! I found this picture - it is a "Longhorned Caddisfly". Their larvae live in clean, flowing water (Basswood Creek)

the 'stink bug', I find these (thankfully) always in the garden ;)

My bugs find me. They alight on the computer screen or on my lamp. Sometimes their body is hidden by the lamp and all I see is their illuminated antenna filaments waving around.

It's small -

The insect is about one half the size of the thumbnail image. (w/19" monitor)
