the taxi driver. I set a route but the driver picks a different, waaay more, dangerous route and floors it like the devil's chasing him. Although he does brake for animals ;)

I'm still playing minecraft.. though I have GTAV for ps3.. it's extremely overwhelming. I like simple.. like building stone axes and shovels :)

fiddled with the settings a bit (fxaa/msaa) and now I have ~60fps in dense areas when raining

I'm pleased to announce that yesterdays update to GTAV fixed the launcher problem for me so I can just run the game normally now, which is nice :)

Doesn't run at all today :/ All I get now is launcher crashes whether I disable the nVidia card or not.

Finally got it installed an hour ago, had a quick look around to make sure it worked and now it's time for bed... ...and another cup of tea.

It's 60.6GB on my rig and it took an awful long time for the pre-load to convert into game files, like Microsoft 'it's almost done, just a few seconds left'.

Well it finished downloading the 5Gb and immediately started downloading 350Mb :/

Well the solution to the GTA 5 Launcher crashing when you start it is to disable the nVidia graphics driver and use the intel internal graphics instead!?! I hope I don't have to play the game on the intel graphics it'd be super shit. Hopefully once the update is installed by the launcher this won't be a problem anymore :/
