We just lost the voice of Hal9000 too :/
Douglas Rain, the voice of Hal9000, was 90.

Yeah, this sucks, but what an amazing legacy he leaves behind. There can't be many people who can say they've brought happiness to hundreds of millions of people. It turns out he was a superhero all along :)
