Here's another fully restored. One was auctioned for 4 million bucks. They had a 90 gallon fuel capacity and a six cylinder engine. Top speed...45mph.

that thing on top is a combination surfboard (for the guys cruising through California) and ironing board (there's no reason the woman should just be sat in the passenger seat doing nothing. ;)

Read an article about this a couple of years ago in a classic car mag. GM toured America with a fleet of these called the Parade of Progress. There was no A/C, and the drivers would cook in warm weather in the little glass cockpit. They had dual front wheels, and would regularly pop the seals on the power steering box. It's funny the stuff you remember......
