The point of the shutdown was to destroy Obamacare, a health law passed 3.5 years ago, made up lots of ideas that republicans used to support.

The republican party has voted over 40 times to repeal the law. Now they want to defund it and if they don't get their way, they're taking the whole system down with them. Great leadership.

So if the grocery store doesn't have the item I want, should I start destroying the entire store, scary away customers until the manager gets me what I want to buy??

No, they'd call the cops and have me hauled away. The politicians who act the same way, who are paid by taxpayers, should suffer the same treatment for being cry babies and sour grapes.
