Thank you

I have to say that I am happy with the responses I earned with this photo. This is not one that I would share on other social media sites, but felt that I wanted to run it by my friends here. Somehow, your potential critcism and ire were welcome as I feel you are a well rounded bunch and I respect the opinions and views shared here.
After taking a second look I agree Vis about the patriotism shown, there is even an Obama 2012 sticker in the photo as well.

Axlanche is a Mormon and Mormons and Jehovah's are very similar. Not once has he knocked on my door, nor any of his bretheren.

As far as religion goes for me, I agree with the sentiment here. Pratice your beliefs for yourself, don't try to shove it down my throat (incidentally my view on LGBT & politics as well).

>>25111 I've had some Jehovah's Witnesses show up at the door! The women they send were pretty cute!
A friend of mine said I should join! He says there's plenty of them where he works, and they fool around on each other all the time!

>>25102 You're wrong about Jehovah's Witnesses praying like this in public, except before eating, Grim. They may knock on your door but they're merely spreading news about the Bible.

I'm no fan of religion, but people can do as they pleases as long as it doesn't have to affect others.
Remember guys it's NOT ok to hate on a religion, that would be favouritism! You have to hate them all the same! :)

Looks like a mostly patriotic parking lot though - 9/11 sticker, American flag. If the worshipers pictured here needed to be praying at a certain time of day, and this was a make-shift prayer-site, then yes, tolerance is the key.

But technically, they are taking up two parking spots and that would be annoying if you were trying to park.

I'm not a fan of people worshiping outside of their designated areas.

>>25088>>25091 wow, at first I thought he was shot to death (bloody towels?). But praying makes more sense.

Am I the only one who finds it annoying if someone is openly expressing their faith upon the street (Jehovah witnesses, Muslims praying out in the open, WBC protesters)? I have no problem with religious symbols but keep your religion of the streets, please.

>>25091 You did good, OB. Couldn't have asked for a better set up for an apropos picture. I didn't see the prayer rug. He could have been lifting his keys off the asphalt with his teeth for all I knew.

>>25089 I backed into my parking spot here at the rest stop. This is the view from my drivers seat. My daughter pointed out the muslim gentlemen in the background, performing their prayers in turn. I glanced to my left and noticed the sticker on the car parked next to me. Snapped the picture.

>>25088 Well, you got me on this one. He's:
Spilled his drink and will have it at any price.
Drink was spiked and he's passed out.
Threw up and will have the drink at any price.
