yeah..but scared of what to come. She got evicted today but luckily she can stay at a friends place. She's gotta sort her life out both financially and mentally. It will be tough 4 her

After your further information, it sounds like she's just plain scared. Your country probably has programs like we do to get her money affairs back in order. Debt is a growing problem everywhere but not something that can't be fixed over time. I just hope for everyone involved that she is safe.

hiding from the debt collectors, hiding from the truth, maybe even hiding because of shame?

She has a debt of +40.000 euro of various parties. My dad is still sifting through the bills.

So at this point, do you think she is in hiding or she was taken?

My sis is 35yr. We believe she just left without proper thinking it through, although she did feed the cat.

Friends are going to the place where we believe she is. They are going to post her pic all over the town, train station, shops and at the local police.

Sorry to hear this news. I hope she is simply getting a little space to clear her head. People often head to a safe place from earlier in their life, perhaps a place they lived when very young or a favourite holiday location. Just get the word out far and wide and hope someone will see her and let her know you are missing her.

she has a major debt after her university experience and later a divorce. The bills just kept pouring in and she just couldn't handle that anymore.

The police found the keys on the inside of the porch door and the door wasn't locked. Nobody seen her leave, not her boyfriend nor the neighbors nor her close friends. But all are searching for her.

The cat had enough food and water. it did crossed our minds too that she planned it. But if you are in debt, you will stay in debt in another country..plus the debt will only increase!

She brought her phone, laptop, and id card with her, at least that's what we know.

The ring of keys has 4 keys attached to it. 1 for all the locks in the house and 3 idk.

Strange, Grim. Disconnected phone would indicate she had done that (maybe she went to cell phone usage only). Were the keys inside the door or outside? Was the door locked? Neighbors or close friends might have an answer. Cat being fed means to me she'd planned on being away till the food ran out. Calculate the amount of food left to number of days remaining. Does the ring of keys have the door key on it? If not, she has it and is planning to return. Hope things work out for the better, Grim.

wow.. okay! I assume she has a history of being "seen" (unlike myself, who will hide away on the weekends). I certainly hope she is okay and turns up today / tomorrow! Please keep us posted! This is a little scary..
