I've played this video a dozen times just to hear that whistle. Damn, that's a good whistle! I can dream about that thing sitting atop my van blowing the texting idiots out of the way.

I'm guessing the embers are because there's some sort of fan blowing through the firebox to increase the heat and power.

Ha ha, never seen a steam traction engine tractor pulling before, I've seen plenty of tractors doing it but not that! Very cool :D

The embers were added for the night effect. Although maybe some farmers in California might do this every summer..?

Impressive! Love that whistle. I wonder how many farmers set their corn fields on fire during harvest?
