>>0 Wish I'd known about this procedure back in the late 70's. I had large bags full of cans which I re-cycled for money. They would pile up in the corner of my garage but the residue inside would attract roaches. I quit because of that. This 'melting' method would have reduced the trips to the re-cycling plant, cured the roach problem and the ingots would have saved space. I had mounds of coke and beer cans.
