>>29046 they would be super villains!

Imagine this guy down in Texas who brought ebola with him from Africa - if that guy was a certified bad guy, he could have done so much damage.

>>29041 They're a damn sight cheaper. That's for sure! They could have roadside recluses or suicide widows.

I really think if the local terrorists were smarter, they would forget about nuclear weapons and beheadings. If you want to scare someone, drop a spider on his head!!!

If it weren't for spiders, the world would be overrun with billions of insects; biodiversity at its best. I let the little fellas do their job even though they look dangerous. This fella (pictured) is the Brown Recluse. It's the only one that gives us trouble here in Houston because of its bite. The Black Widow used to be around here but not much any more.

These Garden Spiders are good guys.

these European Garden Spiders (orb-weaver) aren't that big (6.5 to 20 mm).

Most of them are garden spiders that do good things by killing other pests. The one pictured above, probably not one of the good guys. I hate spiders, but I leave them alone, and usually escort them back outdoors should they start to get comfortable inside.

I've never seen a spider yet that didn't look dangerous in one way or another. What's the actual size of this one?
