I don't drink but off-hand I'd wager this beer isn't the best one could buy (taste). It may be good!
$.99 cents is a little on the cheaper side here with premium beers anywhere from $1.50-$2.00 per bottle/can.

Is that beer considered premium? Or is 1 usd for a can of beer the standard price?

My fav (German) beer costs €0.55/$0.73 for a 0.5 liter can.
