Cupola for carport roof

Had some leftover siding, wood and a weather vane I've been storing so I decided to put them all to good use.

The lower roof is removable so I can drill through the cupola frame and bolt it to the carport roof. When it's painted and installed, I'll post a picture.

The glue in the picture below is the strongest stuff on the market, I know of, right now. It'll bond just about anything to anything. Strong stuff!

Here are the construction steps. I ripped an old treated 4 X 4 in half and planed it down to make the frame. The sides and roof are hardi-siding (a cement composite).
