What I quoted was from books (>>22770) and anthropology. I've seen it hold fairly true in general. I'm around a lot of alcoholics and they're ALL compulsive to some extent. It can also be a GOOD thing for we don't give up easily and are somewhat of a perfectionist.
Sorry I didn't mention the van for I wanted to ask is it yours?

>>22771 Everybody is an analyst of other peoples lives. Deal with it.

>>22768 thx! You the first daddy who says so ;)

>>22774 I'm a rocket scientist if I didn't procrastinate so much.

03/03/13(Sun)14:26

It's what I do when not performing brain surgery, Fox.

03/03/13(Sun)13:29

Geez, I make a joke, and suddenly everyone is an analyst! ;D

>>22769 In general (but not 100% of the time) it's a compulsive trait we're born with. It's in the DNA. Sheldon's father may have been compulsive because I certainly don't see it in his mother. It can also have to do with sibling rivalry and the competition that goes with it. I am compulsive, competitive and like to be right all the time but think most of us tend to do that also. Web sites like this provide a space for people like us....all others read what others have to say on facebook.

03/03/13(Sun)12:35

>>22767 I do that. It's not intenttional (most of the time) but I do that. There's no harm in boasting on ones accomplishments from time to time especially when the basic intent is merely to show others what you've done. It does make for good conversation on a site where the participants are so greatly separated.

>>22759 kickass shaggin wagon btw!

03/03/13(Sun)04:39
it's the grand am all over again. :)

>>22761 You can relate to Sheldon because you and that character are similar in the fact that your world and interests are very important to you. So much so that almost every conversation that you engage in, you have a personal story to relate to it, or you steer the subject to one that is centric to you. No offense meant by this Fox, it's just the way you are wired. it is what makes you who you are. My personality is just one of those that enjoys poking fun at your type every now and again.

there will be no screaming when girls are around. DO YOU HEAR ME???! ;)

>>22620 Could you have rented property and saved the money so you could have funded the carwash without borrowing?

>>22366 Good one!
But I was going to have the girls I worked with at a modeling agency do it, and they agreed! But the bank didn't! It would have been grand!

Back when I was in my twenties, I tried to open a bikini car wash, but the banks wouldn't loan me the money for it! :(

There goes Starbucks!

20/02/13(Wed)19:35

Interesting place. Reminds me of those film processing huts that were set up in parking lots where you drop off your roll of film for them to be developed.

Next time I'm in Colorado, I'll pay Leah, Angela and Katie a visit and tell them Merlin's Bar sent me!
