Tank two break-in complete! It took forever to get it to idle! :p
I won't get it all done today, because of the dive class! ;D

>>15731 >>15732 (jerks) :p
I'm taking the truck out right now, for the first start up! The book says it will take about an hour and a half to complete the break-in! Then I have to go teach a scuba class!

30/03/12(Fri)12:03

After work, I'll be breaking in the engine! I'll take a pic of the car, and this weekend I PROMISE to clean up my plane, and post a pic! :p

30/03/12(Fri)08:31

Does this mean you won't show your r/c PLANE? Bailing out on that endeavor? Chicken out? ;P

Pix, man! We need pix! Show us the model...and the r/c car too ;D

30/03/12(Fri)03:33

Oops! *Half* the fun is building it! :p

29/03/12(Thu)23:38

RTR unfortunately! Have the fun is building the thing! There is a lot of rules for this thing! This one is a race ready racer! I chose this one instead of the rough-ready one because it didn't have reverse! :D

29/03/12(Thu)23:35

YES! So you have to build it or is it RTR?

29/03/12(Thu)23:27

>>15722 Charging battery packs right now! And reading about the engine break-in! Really specific instructions here! Extra parts & even a "Long Travel Rocker Set" with stiffer springs and longer rocker arms! I may have to get extra tool box for all the included tools, chargers, and parts!
It also has an electronic controlled two speed automatic transmission plus reverse! Is your mouth watering yet!? ;D

6200maH Big Mama

It was recommended for my Leopard tank, cause it uses many servos and has to make all the delicious sounds ;)

The 'Big Mama' is the highest available (racing) battery I could find, as expected the cost is also enormous.

29/03/12(Thu)15:52

Wow, 5100maH? When I was running them we started with 1300 and years later had 1800's. Still, far less troubles (or at least easier to fix troubles) with electric than with the nitro models.

USed to buy parts from the guy that designed and sold this clod buster chassis ->

I personally like electric, there's more torque and I don't have to spend 20 minutes to clean up the vehicle. Also electric is much cheaper and is faster too; my buggy can reach speeds of 37 Mph with a single 5100maH battery, while the wr is at 161.76 Mph!
Another factor is that electric uses less moving parts; if you use a brushless motor.

But Nitro does sounds cool ;)

I'm really interested in this one!

Traxxas is a great brand. I prefer the electric Slash 4x4, although the 4x2 is also fun (and cheaper ;)

I mean a German Tiger Tank! ;)

29/03/12(Thu)00:01

I remember getting a Big Trak for my oldest daughter...we both had fun. I had a race car with a big key sticking out of the side. That's it.
