In the past NK soldiers crossed the line into freedom. To prevent this they placed the NK soldiers facing each other, if one even tries to cross the line, the other one will execute him and vice versa. At least that's I've been told and by Kim-un it MUST BE TRUE! ;)

This is the 39th parallel dividing North and South Korea. I heard the North's troops won't look south but don't know too much what that's all about. Wonder how developed the North side is here (obvious to see what the U.S. troops are walking around and their lackluster observance of the border is).
