Herefordshire is famous for the Hereford Bull, a very popular type of bull all over the world. The river is the River Wye, one of the bigger rivers in the UK. And the red is probably for the red sandstone which the area is also famous for.

Not bad, and I've seen much MUCH worse. So the town is famous for red bull(s) trying to cross a snowy river?

My town doesn't have a flag, but I see the council invented a flag in 2019 for the county. Apparently they forgot to mention it to anyone! XD
