Not immediately, we are still part of the common market and customs union. I'm pretty sure our living standards will start to fall compared to the EU. The value of the pound will be unstable at least until the trade talks are complete, and as for what happens at the end of the year when we completely leave the EU I don't know. The feeling is Boris wants a 'no deal' scenario which could be very bad for most people in the UK.
