it sells

let me think..we have 2 McDonald's, a KFC, and I think there's a Burger King nearby too.

McDonald's is crap but cheap, only go there when you're drunk or high and are hungry.
Burger King has delicious burgers but they add fries to the salt.
I never been to KFC as it's too expensive.
For all the stuff that those branches have, our local 'frituur' (fast food/take-away, or literally 'Fried') has it too. Pretty much every district has at least one.

In your fair city, what U.S. franchises DO you have and have you tried them and what is your opinion. You may omit McDonalds.

mm..I'm not liking the dq bit. I'll only visit those places if they're close to me. I don't want to travel an hour for crappy meat or frozen food.

And nothing beats home made (BBQ) burger, imo.

DQ is freezer to fryer food, nothing to get excited about. Fridays is over seasoned to make up for the low quality meat and jockey marks. Five Guys in Lakeland, Fl was possibly the best hamburger I have had. I have eaten at other locations and not quite as good as that first experience, but a good burger, worth going out of my way for, IMO.

>>31290 Here, anything one could drink to fall down go boom.
Laws may change for the establishment in your country.
Fridays has beer and wine and I think the hard stuff.

hard liquor?

If you get one, try it. You might be surprised. Reasonably priced too.

The booze comment was a joke because of your 'pub' comment.

07/09/15(Mon)13:43

Oh, we have loads of Italian restaurants, no need for 1 more. And all proper restaurants have booze (except MD, BK).

07/09/15(Mon)11:19

Olive Garden is Americanized Italian food and very good for the price. They have booze.

We have have a lot of good restaurants already, most of them are independent (non-franchise). The few franchised ones are mostly KFC, Buffalo Grill, McDonalds, and Burger King. Is Olive Garden a garden full of olives (aka a Greek restaurant), cause we have plenty of independent Greek restaurants already. If it is a pub, o man..

Any plans for the Netherlands getting any of these companies?
The really good franchise is Olive Garden. That's worth visiting.

When they arrive I'll go to them all, only then I'll form my opinion.

For now, all sounds interesting. I just hope they use authenticated US products.

After the questions, have you visited any of these and formed an opinion?

Fridays...walk-in restaurant. Waiter with varied menu and good food. Franchise chain throughout U.S and in states that allow franchising. Lousiana... TGI Saturdays but same store.

5 gay swashbucklers..fast grease. Same for DQ. DQ (Dairy Queen)... better fast food and tacos ( 5 flippers doesn't have tacos). DQ has fountain drinks, sundaes, and ice cream cones.

So 5 gays is just another fast food joint, DQ another grill fest, and Fridays?

27/08/15(Thu)02:27

Fridays....definitely!!! Good selection and good food. Medium priced ($20. USD per person)

DQ Good steak sandwich and tacos

5 Gay Guys...hamburger is ok but small. Lots of fries, which are good, but overpriced for what you get.
