The only thing that slipped through my radar was the 'stealth' heli that transported the Seals to kill Osama. And that was just a facelift, not a brand new design.

Didn't the F-22 Raptor replace the F15? The F-35 supposed to replace the Harrier and the F-18.

Well, Grim, there has to be something there that makes sense to replace the F-15. It would be secret and not something we've been shown.

3 version of the F35; a standard version, a version with the extra fan for VSTOL and a Naval one with stronger airframe and suspension.

Yes, and the plans are to build a bunch of them. There was another, can't remember, that was to go to the Navy.

You should see some of the new planes that will replace the F-15. Makes it look like a beginner. My tax dollars at work.
