One thing I have done ALL my life! Is make sure the damn thing is OFF no matter what it is, before I start screwing with it! I've been careful all my life, but my hands still have more scars (percentage wise) than the rest of my body!
I've played football from fifth grade on through high school, ran track, high jumped For Schulte High (private school), raced moto-x & three wheelers for Team Honda, and never broke a bone anywhere! ;) But I have pulled muscles, and ligaments, and bruised tendons more times than I can remember!
All fingers still in tact but stitched up numerous times. Yanked an 8 foot step ladder across the floor (had a 4 pound sledge hammer on the top) and it knocked me out cold.
Aah yes, the saw blade.. how many fingers you have left? ;)
Con'd: Hit the saw blade, cut myself with bread knife (baked bread), army knife cuts (it was sharp on both sides), fell from bike when riding in sand, fell from bike during winter (ice/snow), burned from sparks while grinding metal, head against wall, fist against wall, foot against too heavy rock.
Sticking thumb/fingers in table saw blade (numerous times), shooting a 3" nail through my thumb, riding a 30' extension ladder down the side of a house, 3 stories of scaffold falling away from a building with me on top and on and on....
I'll start: Let's see..
Burning hot plastic on my finger, different finger between door, accidentally cut myself (pretty much my whole life) and I once drank nail polish (I was really young, but I blame my older sister) ;)
