Tada! Finally the case arrived! It's a pity the cables of the psu are so long but what the hell.

  • Supported file types are: GIF, JPG, PNG
  • Maximum file size allowed is 8000 KB.
  • Images greater than 200x200 pixels will be thumbnailed.

I only use my htpc for movies, all the other stuff like surfing, downloading, looking at pix I do on my gaming pc and music I play on my ipod. So 2010 I know ;) At least for now.

>>18495 That'll be CoreAVC making the differnce, not all codecs can make full use of the GPU. VLC is a great all round player, but MPC is probably better for HD. You might like to look at all in one HTPC software like MediaPortal. I use MP with mostly success, but it can have some issues.

I noticed that VLC player eats a lot of the cpu resources when I played a 1080i movie. So now I use MPC-HC with coreAVC. And BAM! it works like a charm!
