I remember my first landing very well

A one time shot for me also, Vis. I'm not particularly fond of something that can fall out of the sky but couldn't pass up the chance. That was in 1970, also a Piper Cub, and it will probably be the only time. I'd do it again, however.

I love small planes! When I was 18 I worked as a lineman at our airport! It was a busy place back then! We had a functioning airline there! The company I worked for, (H&D Aviation) also had a flight school! And I got to fly a small stunt plane once! I did everything but land it! IThe instructor said I was doing so well with the approach, did I want to land it!? I said- "You don't really want to lose your job do you?!?"
