When the Susan B. Anthony dollar coin came out, retailers complained because there was no space for it in the cash registers!
And I used to get two dollar bills from the bank, just to be different! I would use them all the time! Great for leaving a tip at the restaurants!

We had the same problem in the UK when the £2 coin first arrived. They were only produced in small numbers and largely presented in display packages for various events. They were legal tender but lots of shops refused to take them thinking they weren't real!?! Thankfully now they are widely used. It's still a bitch getting anyone to take a £50 note though :/

Kinda makes one want to hang his head, doesn't it? It a good thing jobs are offered with rubber chicken hats and computers that count change automatically otherwise there'd be no future for our young. I've actually seen our young counting on thier fingers....that was a 25 year old.
