Crazy cool

in America, the major political parties are deeply divided. The reason appears to be that Obama is not republican.

From a brand new CNN poll:

"In general, do you hope that Barack Obama’s policies will succeed or do you hope that his policies will fail?
Republicans:
Succeed 39
Fail 51

By contrast, 66 percent of independents want his policies to succeed, and 67 percent of overall Americans want that, too.

Even more interesting, when Republicans are then asked about some of the Obama policy ideas themselves — without Obama’s name attached to them — majorities support them."

>>12732 I'll take any votes that help! ;D
"You elected us? Yes, now fuck off!"
That's pretty much how it works here! "Thank you for voting me into a job that makes me hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, while the bank forecloses on your house! Now don't bother me, I'm buying my third beach house in California!"

>>12720 I don't read. And looking at the pic, this book ain't for me ;)

>>12722 You got my vote! (ps, does it matter that I'm not a Yank?)

Back on Topic: I think it still isn't bad enough to get a revolution started (I'm talking about the Euro situation).
The price of everything went up with the introduction of the Euro and we did complain but we still bought stuff. Even when we gotta pay more tax to save a country that doesn't give a toss about collecting tax, we do protest but not enough. And we also have a government that doesn't give a shit what we want. "You elected us? Yes, now fuck off!"
The last part is global, me thinks.

That was the whole idea!
To inspire the masses to want to do more for themselves and others, by putting the dreams back into American minds! Putting those dreams back will show that nothing is un-achievable, and things can change as long as we really want them to! Bringing back the urge to want to see their goals complete, and feel the proudest of themselves and a country that can -and will- reach those goals in bringing back the inner strength that exists in every American, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all!
Thank you!
Oh! Was I just politicking!??! :p

>>12711 Seafox won't change shit because it cannot be done by one person. It takes a village.

Here, read this book!! ;)

When SeaFox becomes POTUS he'll really change shit!
At least that's what he says ;)

"Something always seems to stop us." Citizens do not have the balls to demand change from the people we've elected to run things. That "something" is called "fear and laziness".

In America, Obama said "hope and change" and his supporters said, "Great, you do it and we will sit around doing nothing to help but expecting results." We cannot work that way as a society and expect things to actually get better.

Very interesting, but I fear politicians will fuck it all up for us :/
