Well, essentially it was mutual breakup. It was a long-distance thing...about 9 months. The plan was that she'd move here eventually because I can't move there and leave my doctors. Her parents are getting old and have had a lot of health problems lately, her sister is pregnant and due in a few months, and her other sister got engaged on the 23rd. After being with her family over Christmas, and was among talk of babies and weddings and such, she decided that she couldn't leave her family anytime in the near future. So, since I can't move there and she won't move here, there's really no point. I think she had already decided on Christmas, so I'm sorta thankful she didn't tell me ON Christmas. Either way, though, it sucks.

I'm with SF. I'm always sorta waiting for the big explosion. Me and my girlfriend broke up the day after Christmas, how sad is that? So that'd be sorta nice in a way.
