I want to open a picture with Photoshop but it won't let me add it, even if I tick the "always use.." box. It normally should add the program in that 'Open With' quick list..but somehow it won't :S Does anyone know a solution?

Hmmm, I wonder if some other software is constantly reasserting itself as the default for that file type?!?
Failing that it could be a bit of a screw up in the registry, so you could try running a registry cleaner to try and fix any problem. Failing that do a google search for how to edit the registry to force it use a certain program to open a certain file type :)
It may even be possible to find an option within photoshop to associate file types with it.
