Luckily Red Dwarf was never popular here. SMEGul soon will have a German hood..

It sucks when warehouse and delivery people just don't give a fuck.

At least you now have something you can be happy with, even if it makes you a smeg head XD

21/10/26(Wed)10:40

I still need an extractor hood but I also need to paint some walls..urgh

It looks just as good, although I need to be very careful how to clean it.

SMEG el muh precious

So I reordered, now I have an inox variant from SMEG. A bit (lots of bits) more expensive but quality out-of-the-box and irl too.

No more inventum for me

Well, I ordered a black induction oven combo twice but both times it arrived with damage at exactly the same position. The delivery dudes said it was probably done by the factory during wrapping or shipping. It was also a cheap model but still very pricey.

Wowzers, 80's aesthetic with physical buttons, oh and an orange light!

My 1st furnace will arrive on Monday and it was €700 (base price). I'll post a pic when it's installed.

Oh, we just call it stainless steel, sometimes it's referred to as inox on metal cutting blades.

Stainless would be a nice option for the cooker. I quite like stainless for the kitchen accessories. Most of mine are, but not my cooker which is dark brown, and from 1987! XD

It's a Tricity Sovereign and was the top electric cooker back then. My dad bought it for my mum as she always complained that the crappy old cooker was always why the food was burned. In 1987 I remember it cost £750!!! The food continued to be burned XD

I've kept it alive for a long time, but it's impossible to get parts for now so when I update my kitchen one day I'll get a new one.

I don't know why the person who owns the cooker like mine keeps theirs in the garden, but I find it more useful in the kitchen.

I too keep a gimp or two around for special occasions.

Rright, my bad, RVS (or inox) is stainless steel. I mistakenly thought it was a universal term but it's a Dutch abbreviation.

I use my gimp every week. But only 2.10 as that is my preferred version.

And yes, white is an option too.

So far it's 2x white, 1x black, 0x stainless steel

07/10/26(Wed)09:55

I don't know what RVS means, but if it's the white one then probably that XD

I'm pleased to see you still have a use for your gimp. It's a shame to keep them hanging around with nothing to do.

Poll: black or RVS?

06/10/26(Tue)18:42

Right? It was worth the noise and dust.

And finally more than 6 sockets, instead of only 2. Plus one perilex 2-fase for induction cooking. Now to find a reasonable priced induction/oven combo..oh and a kitchen extractor hood of the recirculating kind.
Soon I can bake bigger cakes :D

Very nice! So much nicer when the pipes and cables are hidden in the wall.

New vent covers too, as well as a faucet and stuff, they even included a utensil divider/organiser.
