Soon I'll have another water cooled pc.

I needed a project so I build a water cooled pc from spare parts (old hardware).

Trying to find the right 3M tape for a job is a nightmare! They so many XD
Thankfully their website has lots of information to help figure out the right one.

Had to screw-in the fan hub cause the 3M sticky tape didn't work.

The Streacom DB4 uses its shell as a heatsink

There are fanless pc cases (expensive cause aluminum) but they are for low powered cpu's . And my i7+980 isn't. I do sometimes turn the fans off on my main pc if there's no load on cpu/gpu.

Nice! I do like how clean PC's look with water cooling. I just wish you could do away with the fans for the radiators too. Some kind of large aluminium sculpture to both work as a heatsink and look really cool.

After the air test comes the water test. No leaks!

Now I can tear it down and clean stuff up. And also have to wait for the custom cables to arrive.

After a lot of eye-balling and a bit of searching the web for ideas I finally (not really) had the routes of the tubes in mind.
