Birmingham Airport only got one runway as it's way too close to the city to build another one. Schiphol Airport has 5 runways yet crosswinds still happen.

Wow and more wowza. I watched 20-25 landings and it's a wonder no plane crashed. Bet there were a few brown spots in the pilot's cabin. That airport kept using the same runway also. Most airports have east-west strips plus north-south strips. Maybe the landings wouldn't have been any better if they'd changed.

Must be a good excuse for this. I'd hate to think this is the same pilot I had that bounced the plane 3 times before finally landing.
