One good thing I learned in Cultural Anthropology was 'Never judge another country's values and norms to your own'. The age of consent is something I've never quite figured out. 10 and 11 year olds are having sex around here. Then there's cases of a male getting prison time for having sex with a 15 year old female that's been sexually active since she was 12. Go figure.
Uncle Merv is scary. In his state, that's probably the consenting age of sheep.
I might have told you this before but when Millard Fillmore became President here the age of consent was 13.
