>>20658 Republicans made a big mistake going after only the white vote. When there were 8+ candidates vying for the nomination, too many of them were so far right on the issues that it pulled Romney that way too. He couldn't steer back center fast enough. He wanted illegals to implement "self-deportation". :-\

If the republican party turned less white male they would've won.

You think Mitt will try a third time?

And why was Florida late again?

POPULAR VOTE
Obama - 60,841,109
Romney - 57,941,265

It was a tough battle and close fight, but Obama has won the electoral college for the second time in a landslide, and the popular vote, also for the second time.

Romney won the white vote. :-\

"Of the 46 million people living in poverty in America in 2010, the U.S. census revealed that 31 million were white. Ten million were black."

"Seventy percent of counties with the fastest-growth in food-stamp aid during the last four years voted for the Republican presidential candidate in 2008, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture data compiled by Bloomberg. They include Republican strongholds like King County, Texas, which in 2008 backed Republican John McCain by 92.6 percent."

In summary, white folk living in poverty, collecting food stamps and shopping at wal-mart are voting for the republican candidate, but labeling the black lady as the welfare queen and Obama as the bogeyman.

>>20616 It was merely a case of another republican on Fox news being a sore loser.

Someone can be president for two terms (four years each). It's a good rule. I wish all elected positions had term limits.

07/11/12(Wed)08:11

well if Fox news called it, it must be true.

Btw, how many times can someone stay president?

The election was called for Obama.

Fox News also called it for Obama.

And then they turned the mic over to Karl Rove, who disputed the results, giving Romney a chance to win, saying the results were "premature".

The Fox News Decision Desk said they were "quite comfortable with their call."

Rove refuses to accept the reality. Much like the majority of Fox News viewers.
