The gov. hasn't raised taxes here in a while....we just print more money. Ex wife worked for Baylor college of medicine. The doctor she worked for gave grant monies to colleges for research (my tax dollars). One college in Portland Oregon wanted $25,000 to punch holes in pellicans beaks and observe how long it would take to grow back. True story and I remember it because of the stupid request.
