Holy shit, I watched it and I am shocked! Whole buildings simply collapsing or swimming away in that muddy shit... I feel sorry for those poor bastards.

>>8749 It wouldn't load here on my end!
I would love to see the water rushing away from the coast, just to see how far out it really goes! But I would be in a helicopter doing it! :p

>>8734 everyone who owns a boat in california should have known the waves would first meet hawaii and then potentially appear on california and oregon beaches and harbors. and yet, those boats remained in the harbor. oh well. i guess they are dumb boat owners.

>>8733 surfers surfed, but orange county (where i live) closed the beaches as a safety precaution. further north, beaches were open and surfers were out, but i think it is a really dumb thing to play around with mother nature when she wakes up on the wrong side of the bed.

>>8732 Because they probably didn't think it would make it to them. Most people that own boats are too stupid to know what to properly do with them.
>>8733 Exactly what I was thinking there Grim!

>>8727 why isn't anybody surfing?

13/03/11(Sun)14:34

>>8727 Why didn't these people take their boats out to sea, and avoid the damage?!?!

You know most of the movies or cartoons show a tsunami as a huge crystal clear wave of water. And in reality it's an ugly muddy brownish stuff full of debris. And most of the killing and damage is done by this debris, the same case with tornados.

The "experts" say it was caused by us frakking for oil in North and South Dakota!
