the banks have foreclosed on over 3 million homes across the nation, and yet, there are not enough properties on the market for qualified borrowers to purchase. this is because the banks have not put those foreclosed properties (shadow inventory) on their books (doing so would equal MASSIVE losses for them). until they disclose the losses, the housing market will continue to drag. so i will continue to wait, i guess..
