yes, but knowing me, i probably was screwing around with the settings thinking i could white balance it better than technology could, and it's downhill from there.. ;)
You can balance the monitor to some extent here http://www.displaycalibration.com/ You can adjust the monitors colour settings in windows by going to the display settings.
You could also go to a photography store and get a colour and balance card, or possibly print one out, to help adjust the monitor, by comparing it to the image on http://www.displaycalibration.com/ The camera should balance the white itself by using the auto against a white sheet or using one of the presets. If that doesn't work it needs repairing :/
my camera has been putting out some yellow pics lately that need lots of work in ps. i need to do some white balancing. also, my computer monitor has color issues where the light gray looks pink. i have tried all remedies i can find, but it's still a problem. any ideas?
