The steep road can be seen turning around the hill

>>33605 well, regular cars had to pay 2 euro to park. I don't know the other vehicles, but I bet the price goes up the larger the vehicle.

It was another 2 euro per person to ride the bus. As you can expect most elders took the bus. We, however, walked ;)

Then another 10 euro per person for both the exhibition (weapons, armor, and trinkets) and the tour de Castle with a (pretty) guide.
The guide told me she did 9 tours a day for 5 days, each tour had around 20 people. And there were 2 guided tours per time inside the castle, they take about 40 minutes.

I didn't went to the souvenir shop as it was too busy. Same applied to the restaurant. Toilet use was free.

When we went, people were still pouring in.

>>33601 it was! From the armory (clubs, axes, scimitars, bows, arrows, armors) to the grand hall, the dining (one of many), to bedrooms, kitchen, and the conference room filled with stone masks on the wall, shiny armors on display. Such a pity I couldn't snap her..I mean the interior.

Looks interesting. I hate to think what it costs to run a place like this, no wonder they've embraced tourism.

swanky digs man...I imagine the tour was impressive.

Plenty of foreign people visited the castle; Aussies, Americans, Chinese, British, and a few Dutch.

The Burg (German for castle) has got 80 rooms, which half of them are heated by a fireplace (or two). We weren't allowed to take pictures during the tour :(
