Zombies are like ants. They have no trouble climbing a 100 foot wall by stepping all over each other.
This was a fairly good movie, BTW.. "World War Z"

The island doesn't have to be small. Hawaii is pretty big. Oh, and the zombies are of the Dead Rising/Dawn of the Dead kind, unless JC is nearby than they become speedy, and can swim.

>>32662 Good grief, you're correct! I was adhering to the old adage.. "Buy a boat, zombies can't swim", then I looked it up on the net. They can also walk on the ocean floor!

I was hoping for a little island nook.

30/06/16(Thu)12:33

>>32656 >>32657 Didn't you know that zombies can swim now!?! It's a fact, I saw it on Fear the Walking Dead.

>>32655 Since Zombies don't swim (at least I don't think they do) we can live on Grim's island. He can be King, I'll build him a house with no electricity and he can feed me!

I'm praying for a zombie-pocalypse! It would be scary, but really no scarier than driving on the freeway!

We need a meet-up location if it happens though. Then we can fight the hordes together!! :D

Day 5:
Anarchy everywhere. People eating other people in the streets! Damn these zombie movies are sweet, and they take my mind of the cluster fuck that is politics in the UK.
Needless to say politicians are running around like headless chickens. Who knows what's going to happen. Better get back to those zombie movies.

>>32634 I read the page and, like you, can't understand the 'leave' vote from that area. It's simply mind boggling.

What really caught my eye was the unemployment in that area is 40%!!! WOW!

>>32639 When a person bases their own opinion, or personal feelings, on important subjects instead of what's good for an entire country, a second look at that person should be considered as to their leadership.

Sad thing...people think he's a savior.

Day 3:
The bullshit is piling up fast, thank god I have a chemical respirator.
It now turns out that the EU vote isn't legally binding and would need to be voted on by the parliament. 3/4 of the parliament have suggested that they would be prepared to vote against it.
A petition to have a second EU vote has been set up on the governments petition website. It has attracted 3.25 million signatures as I write. The government must discuss any petition that gets over 100,000.
The prime minister David "Cuntface" Cameron has said he won't instigate the leave EU process and will leave it to the next PM who should be voted by the end of this year. This will be like a poison chalice for whoever that is. I hope to god it is that twat Boris "Twatface" Johnson.
Perhaps there is a chance the UK won't leave the EU after all, the EU itself can't force the UK out, but then again who know what will happen.
How long will be before total anarchy hits the UK? Will the prophecy of the Sex Pistols come true? And who do I have to talk to about this coffee!?! I hope I survive another day...

>>32626 Ireland is already in the EU and does very well from it, so if Northern Ireland forges better links there they could do well.
Scotland has a fantastic leader in Nicola Sturgeon, of the Scottish National Party, she will steer them well. She has some mighty honorary balls :D
This story is well worth a read and highlights the utter stupidity of the Leave voters.

Analysis shows that it was largely those of lower education and low incomes that voted to leave, these are also the same people who are most removed from politics and have no real understanding of what they have voted for. The politicians failure to engage with these people has meant they have believed the bullshit in the gutter press that our biggest problem in the UK is immigration and that leaving the Eu will solve it. In reality immigration is not a problem, the people from other EU countries that live and work in the UK have earned billions of pounds for the economy. There's also the fact that the UK will still have to make a trade deal with the EU which will have to include allowing freedom of labour across borders, so nothing is going to change on that front.
Scotland is very likely to leave the UK now and become independent so it can stay in the EU. It looks like there is a desire in some people in Northern Ireland to do the same and maybe join up with Ireland. I was surprised Wales voted to leave, but I suspect that a desire for independence may grow there now.
Only the wealthy make money off the stock exchange so I don't care about the loses there, but the 10% devaluation of the pound screws everyone in the UK, and seeing as we have to buy everything from other countries as we make very little here life is about to be a lot more expensive.
It's all such a fuck up!

The British government told those wishing to stay in the EU to place their ballot in this black box. It was a shredder!

24/06/16(Fri)21:41

Our stock market went south to the tune of -500 (very bad). The analysts say to take a deep breath and hang in there.
The worst thing I see is the way companies will do business with the EU and the rest of the world. What a mess.
I've read comments here on the net cheering on the Brits for finding freedom from government and big business. The idiots have no brain whatsoever in answering the question as to who gets them jobs. If jobs suffer here, their mouth will fall and they'll exclaim.."Wha went wrong/"

24/06/16(Fri)21:11

Not sure the UK will even exist in the next few years..

It used to be better

yeah, our blond nationalist (Wilders) wants The Netherlands to leave too. Don't know about France. But pretty much every right wing/nationalistic party wants to leave the EU. They all think it will be so much better..like it was before.

24/06/16(Fri)10:55

>>32603 In a news report I was reading this morning, it was rumored the Netherlands and France had the same idea. What have you heard?

23/06/16(Thu)21:53

>>32599 in which category do politicians fit?

23/06/16(Thu)19:18

Should be an interesting day for the world!

By the way, I never truly realized there was a difference between an idiot and a moron. But there is!!

"In psychology, an idiot has the least intelligence on the IQ scale (this now is equivalent to someone who is mentally retarded or the more politically correct “mentally challenged”);

an imbecile is not quite as dumb as an idiot and is now considered equivalent to moderate retardation;

a moron is then the highest level of intelligence for someone who is mentally retarded, thus considered as being mildly mentally retarded.

Specifically, those who have an IQ between 0 and 25 are idiots; IQs between 26 and 50 are considered imbeciles; and those who have an IQ between 51 and 70 are considered morons.

In Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Ohio, idiots don’t have the right to vote."

23/06/16(Thu)12:31

>>32592 John Oliver made a fair assessment of the situation, he's a good representation of the average person in the UK.
Unfortunately much like in the US there is also a large contingent of idiots, morons and wealthy self interested people who take a more racist or xenophobic stance and it's them who will be voting to leave the EU.
Even though the polls show it being very close the betting industry are expecting remain to win. Interestingly the betting industry proved more accurate than the polls in the general election last year. Regardless of all that I don't know what to expect, I'll find out when I wake tomorrow morning :S

22/06/16(Wed)21:13

>>32579 I had been reading some of the topics covered in the lengthy information on this site. I was comparing a lot of it to the country I live in.
John Oliver >>32590 gave a lot of good information in his own way. Hope he's fairly honest and not too self-opinionated.
Our stock market might take a large hit if the UK does vote to leave the EU. The vote looks like a toss-up right now.
If Oliver is correct, why do so many want to leave???

>>32586 Sadly clear facts just aren't available, you simply have to dig around to try to get them. Politics in the UK is very divisive and full of sound bites and no facts.
In the UK voting takes place in local community centres, village halls etc. So I only have to travel half a mile to my local village hall to vote. It is possible to get a postal vote in advance so the vote can still be counted on the day.

21/06/16(Tue)22:16

I'm looking online for unbiased pros and cons for this vote. Sometimes it's hard to know if the source has an agenda or not.

Do you file an absentee ballot, JC, or do you go to a poll or how does that work?

18/06/16(Sat)13:05

>>32576 The latest polls suggest that the leave campaign is slightly ahead of the stay campaign, but there is a significant group who haven't decided. My hunch is that it will probably be a victory for leave by a narrow margin.

18/06/16(Sat)11:06

>>32575 I see in 1975 the UK voted to leave the EU and 67% voted to stay in. What do you think will happen this time?

17/06/16(Fri)12:40

There's no perfect choice, both have good and bad points. However my choice will be to remain as I don't want a UK further dominated by the rich privileged few. Europe is more liberal than the UK government and I appreciate the extra laws from Europe that protect my rights, especially as someone who through illness will likely be state dependent for the rest of my life.
Many people seem to think immigration is a big problem in the UK and that leaving the EU will change that. I can't see that changing at all, the UK government and big business will still force immigration as it aids cheaper workers and maximises profits. It's a independently proven fact that immigration has been a net profit for the UK.
As for all the stories of 'crazy EU rules' that the media have gone on about for years, the truth is these simply don't exist and they were just a way to sell papers.
I do think the EU needs to change many of it's policies on expansion and single currency, but overall I think it's a good thing that all of Europe can work together.
The desire across Europe to change how the EU works has grown a lot in the last year or so, so I think we have a good chance if we stay in to change things for the better.
* I do not support any political party or ideology, I think all politicians are cunts.

17/06/16(Fri)12:15

Maybe a small, limited nuclear war could clean things out and we could start all over.
1. Too many people.
2. Not enough jobs.
3. Expansion of super military powers.
4. World Banks bankrupt.
5. Nuclear war.
I'm pretty sure that's about right.

17/06/16(Fri)09:54

Personal opinion, as usual. You guys should leave. Hopefully the EU will collapse, and Brussels will leave all of us alone. EU rules and regulations will be dropped, and the euro can go fuck itself.
I know it's wishful thinking, and probably wouldn't solve anything. It's the thought that rules.
