I found these little mother fungis (< see what I did there) in the garden. They're Morels in case you don't know, and they are mighty tasty :D

Oh, and this is the first photo taken with my new xperia Z3 compact :D

>>30597 You just can't let those puppies go to waste.

mm sure..but I would let it proof-taste it by a neighbor/local politician

Is it possible to dry them out, grind them up and snort them?

19/04/15(Sun)15:52

they are poisonous if under-cooked

>>30590 Do they have a natural taste without spices? - Yes, it's a more creamy flavour than a normal mushroom, but hard to describe.
Do you use an olive oil to fry? - I used butter, but whatever floats your boat.
Does it have to cook thru and thru for taste? - No idea, I just fried until I thought it was done :D
Is it best to simmer or flash-fry? - Also no idea :D

>>30482 I fried them and they were delicious :)
>>30487 Not too many wild boar around here but if one wanders past I'll get the cats to catch it for me.
>>30488 This is the problem of phones getting ever larger sensors and thinner bodies, and there fore less good lenses. I'll be sticking with the Nikon for any serious photography.

btw, better stick with a proper camera. It's not bad but kinda blurry (focus sony!)

morielje in Dutch, they are generally served with wild, like wild boar (yum), in a mushroom sauce (with various other delicious shrooms)

A sponge mushroom and in West Virginia they're Molly Moochers. I understand they're a chef's delight. Are you going to look for a good recipe or just fry the sucker?
