I live about 50 feet behind this fountain, Grim. Three rental properties are attached into one long house. A lady lives on the left, the owner in the middle and myself on the right. I built and remodeled all 3 and swapped rent for the labor. Most of the outside was funded out of my own pocket because I hate to live in squalor. I'll never recoup any of the money but will enjoy my labors till I move. I live on the side lot of an Alcoholics Anomymous property which the owner rents to them (all one big corner property). It all boils down to...it's something to do. Even when I'm not working on regular paying jobs I'm building something around here. I just can't sit down. I gave up on women, because of my age, and investments in something that will last, something tangible, seemed a little more sensible. I'm not planning to live out my days here but the future always seems to throw curve balls sometimes.

Nicely done! Does your own place look as good as that?

Yes, Foxman. I think I have, I think I have.

Great work :)

That looks very nice! Have you ever thought about putting a fountain in a fountain in a fountain?! ;D

Looks like a great place to raise a family of birds. :)

This is the birdbath/fountain behind the birdhouse. I put a fountain in a fountain, painted it and had a friend make the terracotta urn for the fountain. There's a feeder hanging over head so I should get something to nest (probably sparrows).
