I've only seen this bird in my backyard a few times. He ignores the birdfeeder and goes straight for the caterpillars!!

I get two doves and a horde of finches, sparrows, and at least one cardinal. Over the weekend, there was a mommy bird with three babies. The babies stayed on top of the wall in a huddle, the momma grabbed the food, flew back to the babies and fed them. Really amazing to witness..

My bird feeder will attract sparrows, cardinals, doves, bluejays and an occasional finch. The mockingbirds, crows and others aren't 'seed' birds so they don't bother.
