Concert Stage collapses during storm killing five!

Just two miles East of me!
While I was giving Venus a bath, eight police cars, and two ambulances flew by the house yesterday! I thought maybe a wreck at the dip in the road, or maybe finding an escaped prisoner from last week!
The trooper traveling at high speed had to swerve to avoid a car that pulled in front of him! He slid sideways into oncoming traffic and got slamed! The rear door of the patrol car was stuck to the bumper of the SUV that plowed into him! Both went to the hospital, but the trooper has been released a little while ago!

The church down the highway from me started launching a barrage, and my SeaLife camera has a "fireworks" setting, so I tried it out from the front yard! I can't believe it worked!

While in town for a meeting the other day, I saw a photo op of a Lutheran church!
I liked the way the trees framed the steeple!

About three miles from from on the highway, an old deep mine begins to remind everyone it is still there! This happened about forty years ago in almost the same spot!
Last week, my Dad and I felt a small dip in the road! Yesterday, they put signs up to slow people down! Yesterday evening, they closed the highway! This morning, my Dad an I were on the scene to give he DNR on site some info on the deep mine below! The mine was active in 1904!

Just barely! Our dive on Saturday was a wonderful dive! The new HD camera performed beautifully! However, the video I made with it is just over fifteen minutes long! I do not yet have the software to edit the HD type video! My Windows Movie Maker won't work with it!
Also! We had the riskiest dive ever! All of use went waaay over our safe dive limit! We past the "no decompression limit! We had to decompress for over ten minutes due to the fact that we dove below the recreational diver limit! OOPS! :S I boarded the boat with lest than 200 psi, and an empty spare-air tank! Oh yes, and our boat was taking on water, and listing badly to port! The bilge pumps had all failed on the port side! It was a great day of diving! :D

Taking back roads from the festival, I came upon this! The engine was still warm, and there was no one in sight! No one inside, no one along the road! :S

I stumbled across these! I didn't know they made this for my car!
