This is the digger my dad made. The two outer levers on the top control the arm and the centre lever opens the bucket. It rotates on it's base too.

>>32696 It's only maybe 6 inches wide at the wheels, so I sat straddling the 1 1/2" wide hood. We had two of them, one for my older brother and one for me. Small pieces of the casting, often the linkages, broke over the years from hard use. Working stabilizers, the steering wheel actually moved the front wheels. Great toy. They are all over Ebay, Ford 755 Backhoe. If I cannot find mine, or either one of my brothers nabbed it, I will definitely be buying one for my collection.

This was the model I had a a kid. I must have moved yards and yards of sand with that thing. I would sit on the front of the tractor and use the backhoe. Great times.
